Kameruka is a landmark three bedroom retro beach house that was renovated and extended in 2017.

The home has been lovingly decorated so you can enjoy 60's surf-shack living in contemporary comfort. Come and relive the era, perfect for a family getaway or a vacation with friends. It's only a very short walk to the beach and even your pooch is welcome!

The air-conditioned original section had been repainted, retiled, recarpeted and timber polished. There's a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, plus a good-size second bedroom with two single beds. Two more trundle bed ensure the kids friends won't miss out either.

The restored kitchen is a jewel that harks back to psychedelic summers and the furnishings and artwork all compliment the feel.

Step through to the new extension and you'll discover a main bedroom with ensuite and second air-conditioner. The home also leads out onto a tiled deck with a barbeque and fridge overlooking a heated in ground pool.

There's a fully fenced, shaded backyard to enjoy plus a heated outdoor shower perfect for your post-swim.

Relax and enjoy all this between walks to the beautiful dog-friendly Moffat Beach and the cafe strip just 300m away.

Great location

Short walk to beach so locations was great. Quiet street. Had everything you need for a family holiday with a quirky 70’s vibe. But with a modern main bedroom addition. We booked this house as they allow pets which they are our family so made our trip up for Beachfest perfect. Would stay again. Maybe just trim the trees over the driveway as having two cars the second one the birds had a field day having a poop party. But not a real issue just a suggestion.

Genuine vintage but pool cold

We booked for May 2021 knowing the weather may get cool at times and based on the property boasted a heated pool and was close to the beach. The property was lovely in that it had genuine vintage features. It contained everything required for a beach holiday and was close to the beach through a nature walk. The pool, however, was a major disappointment for us. We were really looking toward to some swims in the heated pool in cool periods. The pool did not become heated until the day before we left- we were there for a week. Although the weather was not as cold as it would be in winter, Accom Caloundra told us that it likely” struggled” to keep warm in the cool weather. we kept it covered when not in use to help with this- to no avail. We wanted to take our toddler in to experience water but were not able to.

Homely and Relaxing

It was perfect with heated pool , beach and parks so close . I’ll be rebooking for a longer stay .

Nice pool, shame about the mosquitoes

50s beach shack w great pool, laundry. Kitchen lacks decent stove, dwasher, cooking, serving items. Whole house needs insect screens on windows & aircon in front 2 bedrooms. Main bathroom needs facelift including toilet installed & window fixed. Blinds need repair in front twin bedroom.

Perfect Beach house!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at 23 Bryce St because we love it. Perfect location and such a funky, comfortable house. We love having the option of beach or pool. Also great to bring the dogs. We'll be back!

Home away from home

Such a comfortable beach feeling house.Had a lovely long weekend with the Grandkids.They really enjoyed the heated pool.So close to the beach.When we arrived we noticed no gas in bbq but shop was only a 2min walk to swap it.It would of been great if there were 2 tvs.Defantly will be staying again.

Close to everything

Close to everything we needed. Good for dogs. Great heated pool. Needs an update of kitchen eg stove. Glad it had ACon during cool evenings. Clean and tidy on arrival.

Mixed Feelings

We stayed here in late January 2020 for four days. Love the way the owners have kept the original part of the house and added to it. The house is perfectly situated to take advantage of the beach and cafes etc nearby. At this time of the year, the pool and air conditioning are the essentials for relaxing and keeping cool. We were disappointed when we arrived to find the house had not been properly cleaned. Kitchen utensils required rewashing before using and there are a number of maintenance issues needing attention. Can appreciate that it is hard to stay on top of things when a beach house is so popular you have a constant flow of guests. The original window in the old bathroom is a concern as it is so rusty it wont close properly, which poses a security risk as well as inviting the mozzies in. Fortunately, we could plan our meals around the barbeque rather than the oven, which was filthy and we werent brave enough to use it. Loved the original style kitchen, but emptying out some of the excess clutter in the cupboards would help guests to be able to find things and still remain well equipped. Loved the setup in the living area. It is thoughtfully laid out for guests to use. Despite the cleaning issues, including dirty floors, we still enjoyed our stay. It is a quaint little beach shack in an ideal location and provided you arent fussy about cleanliness, you will enjoy your holiday here.

The Best!

We love 23 Bryce St, Moffat Beach. It has everything we need and want. House is maintained, even after we missed staying last year. It's truly is a home away from home. Will be booking again. LOVE IT!

Loved it!

We loved this funky beach house. Super cute with everything you could need. Kids loved the pool and the dogs had a great time as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great location easy access to beach. The children loved the pool. Great games and entertainment for all. Fantastic family stay. Only thing I could fault is the pet hair from previous guests who bought their furry friends.

Stayed for 1 week this month. Would have loved to have stayed longer. All you needed to do in this holiday accommodation was to walk in. All the little things you forget to bring were provided. The 'pay it forward' idea was a welcome and refreshing surprise, to which we happily obliged and payed it forward as well. Totally great to be able to take our four legged family member, and the having the pool was a bonus. To not to have to cross the road to get to the beach was just superb. All the little things they owners have attended to to make your stay so much more enjoyable were wonderfully appreciated. We will definately be back.

Great doggie friendly house

This house out did expectations. It is in a great location, great cooking facilities & very clean despite the age of the property (which is part of it's charm). Also good to be able to share the place with out four legged friend without worries as it was very suitable for him too. We'll be back

Standard Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel or change their booking, the following terms will apply.

· If the Guests gives notice to cancel their booking; less than 30 days notice prior to the arrival date, no refund of any monies paid shall be made. The Owner may (in their discretion) provide a refund if the Property is re-let for the total period of the proposed Tenancy at the same or greater rent.
· more than 30 days prior to the arrival date:
· The Guest will, after deduction of the booking administration and banking fees, receive a full refund of all monies paid.
· the Guest will pay a booking administration fee to the Agency (minimum of $60.00); and
· If a booking has been paid for by credit card and is cancelled, all bank charges are the responsibility of the Guest.
· This booking is made in good faith and the Agent is not responsible for any actions taken by the Owner.
· The cancellation policy becomes active on any account once monies have been paid.
· Our Agency strongly suggests that you take out independent travel insurance
· Guests making bookings at this time do so at their ow risk

COVID-19 Circumstances:
Outside our Standard Cancellation policy, if you are unable to occupy the Property during your reservation or you need to alter your reservation, because of the closure of State borders or other Government mandated travel restrictions, due to and/or during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agent will agree to one (only) alteration of your reservation, provided that that alteration is of the same Property, to dates that are not more than 12 months after your original arrival date and the monies paid by you for your reservation continues to be held by the Agent for that altered reservation generally in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any difference in cost due to change in tariff will be the responsibility of the guest.

The Agent is contracted by individual property owners to take holiday bookings for their private properties. In doing so, property owners employ this policy as the framework for managing booking cancellations, amendments and refunds.

Requests from guests seeking to cancel, amend bookings or refund inconsistent with this policy, will be referred by our staff to the property owner/s, who will be the sole decision-makers regarding such requests
