The 180 view was definitely worth the 42 step walk-up. The furnishings were comfy and the rooms airy although the small ensuite was quite stuffy even after a cool shower. The bathroom/laundry and ensuite were showing their age, and the unit lacked general maintenance eg sliding windows were hard to open; the flyscreen in the ensuite was thick with dust; both balcony floors were dirty; the living room curtains were mouldy; there was rubbish in the garage; the taps in the ensuite shower dripped unless turned off hard. The locked robes in the main bedroom and the bags of linen in the unlocked robe took away most of the available storage for paying guests.....Perhaps those contents could be moved to Bedrooms 2 or 3? There were no tidy bins in either bathroom, however the kitchen was well equipped. Would we stay again? Maybe!
This was out first time in this unit. We holiday at Caloundra every Christmas with our family and friends and we found this unit extremely comfortable. From the moment we walked in, the unit was clean and breezy (no need for air con at all). The beds were comfortable, as was the furniture, and two bathrooms and toilets made the world of difference. The view was absolutely spectacular with free entertainment into the carpark (yes, there are a lot of terrible drivers out there!) Close to all amenities - we did not have to use our car for the entire two weeks! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this unit for a comfortable family holiday.
We stayed at Kookaburra Court for a week and it was wonderful!! We have 2 small children so the position was perfect never had to move the car! The unit is a great size big bedrooms and bathrooms are great size to!! Wonderful place to stay will be our regular destination when we go to the sunny coast!!!
My husband and I have stayed here several times. The views cannot be rivalled and the verandah is a good size. The furniture is comfortable and homey, there are plenty of glasses, plates etc and the place is very roomy. You do have to walk up stairs but that is good exercise! You get the breezes too and you can sit on the verandah all afternoon very comfortably. We have stayed in this unit and in the apartment block at least 3 times and will continue to return here.
Fantastic Location and price
This is our second stay - great location and great price. Superb Views, close to both the channel beach and surf beaches plus a short walk to the main street and restaurants and shops. Older style unit in good condition.
Stunning views, great location. Verandah was a great size. With a family of 4 (teenage kids) not sure we could have stayed longer than a weekend. We found the kitchen very small. Also the main bedroom bed was like sleeping on the floor. Apart from these issues we didn't have to use the car once. Walk to restaurants, beaches, shops and Sunday markets.

If the Guest wishes to cancel or change their booking, the following terms will apply.
· If the Guests gives notice to cancel their booking; less than 30 days notice prior to the arrival date, no refund of any monies paid shall be made. The Owner may (in their discretion) provide a refund if the Property is re-let for the total period of the proposed Tenancy at the same or greater rent.
· more than 30 days prior to the arrival date:
· The Guest will, after deduction of the booking administration and banking fees, receive a full refund of all monies paid.
· the Guest will pay a booking administration fee to the Agency (minimum of $60.00); and
· If a booking has been paid for by credit card and is cancelled, all bank charges are the responsibility of the Guest.
· This booking is made in good faith and the Agent is not responsible for any actions taken by the Owner.
· The cancellation policy becomes active on any account once monies have been paid.
· Our Agency strongly suggests that you take out independent travel insurance
· Guests making bookings at this time do so at their ow risk
Outside our Standard Cancellation policy, if you are unable to occupy the Property during your reservation or you need to alter your reservation, because of the closure of State borders or other Government mandated travel restrictions, due to and/or during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agent will agree to one (only) alteration of your reservation, provided that that alteration is of the same Property, to dates that are not more than 12 months after your original arrival date and the monies paid by you for your reservation continues to be held by the Agent for that altered reservation generally in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any difference in cost due to change in tariff will be the responsibility of the guest.
The Agent is contracted by individual property owners to take holiday bookings for their private properties. In doing so, property owners employ this policy as the framework for managing booking cancellations, amendments and refunds.
Requests from guests seeking to cancel, amend bookings or refund inconsistent with this policy, will be referred by our staff to the property owner/s, who will be the sole decision-makers regarding such requests
