Comfortable apartment in a nice location

This apartment was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. It is in a nice quite location overlooking the headland and ANZAC memorial. Undercover car park was easy to drive in and out of. Plenty of cutlery and crockery and large fridge. On the third floor of the building so quite a few steps to negotiate but a lovely view over the shipping channel. Apartment could possibly do with a little updating but the layout was good. Can cross the road to walking tracks that take you south to Kings Beach or north to Shelly Beach. Convenience store and a few local eateries about 10 minutes walk away. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great veiw

We have been coming here for quite awhile, I think it needs to be updated abit, maybe a new dryer and dishwasher, but saying that , still a lovely place

Great views

The unit was comfortable but will not stay in it again. Went to use some of the pans and oven tray and they were all rusty didn't use the aircons because they needed a good clean the windows in the living area were all to hard to open. The TV would play up most nights. Very disappointed when I accidently left some of my stuff in the unit when we came home to be told that it had been thrown in the bin but I done the right thing and returned something back to them that we accidentally took home very disappointed.

Great view but some repairs needed

This unit is in a perfect location. The view is sublime. It was presented in spotless condition. The ensuite bathroom has been upgraded and the second bathroom is also neat and modern. The kitchen appliances are older but serviceable. We had a number of maintenance issues: sliding doors off their tracks, four lights not working, hair dryer burnt out and coffee machine broken. These were attended to promptly when reported. The maintenance person is polite, efficient and helpful. Unfortunately the main air conditioner in the lounge was not functioning. We actually hired this unit rather than the identical cheaper unit on the lower floor, because it had aircon (we have experienced winter in Caloundra and know that heating is needed sometimes). It was 5 degrees one evening ! Reported the fault on Monday, maintenance checked it in the afternoon, told us that the aircon people would attend to it asap..... then heard NOTHING for the remainder of our stay. Not impressed at all and feel rather let down by Henzells. Understand that the company can only react when informed of problems...but we did the right thing and they really didnt live up to their responsibility to provide the facilities that we paid for. Having said that, the staff are polite and positive.

Amazing Views !

Our family stayed in Unit 5 and had a lovely weekend. The unit is a little on older side but the furniture is modern and the unit is fully air conditioned. The building has no lift which makes it hard with little kids and lots of luggage but once you get into the unit and see the view you soon forget all about the stairs! We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful unit in a quiet location, easy walking distance to everything, great sized kitchen and rooms. Fantastic views of the ever changing ocean and glasshouse mountains.

Great balcony and lounge views

Absolutely loved this unit. Great for watching ships and waves on the rocks. Walk to Kings beach wasn't too far for semi fit people. Excellent balcony and door opening and furniture. Needs shade on pool though. Stairs bit of a climb after walks.

Standard Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel or change their booking, the following terms will apply.

· If the Guests gives notice to cancel their booking; less than 30 days notice prior to the arrival date, no refund of any monies paid shall be made. The Owner may (in their discretion) provide a refund if the Property is re-let for the total period of the proposed Tenancy at the same or greater rent.
· more than 30 days prior to the arrival date:
· The Guest will, after deduction of the booking administration and banking fees, receive a full refund of all monies paid.
· the Guest will pay a booking administration fee to the Agency (minimum of $60.00); and
· If a booking has been paid for by credit card and is cancelled, all bank charges are the responsibility of the Guest.
· This booking is made in good faith and the Agent is not responsible for any actions taken by the Owner.
· The cancellation policy becomes active on any account once monies have been paid.
· Our Agency strongly suggests that you take out independent travel insurance
· Guests making bookings at this time do so at their ow risk

COVID-19 Circumstances:
Outside our Standard Cancellation policy, if you are unable to occupy the Property during your reservation or you need to alter your reservation, because of the closure of State borders or other Government mandated travel restrictions, due to and/or during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agent will agree to one (only) alteration of your reservation, provided that that alteration is of the same Property, to dates that are not more than 12 months after your original arrival date and the monies paid by you for your reservation continues to be held by the Agent for that altered reservation generally in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any difference in cost due to change in tariff will be the responsibility of the guest.

The Agent is contracted by individual property owners to take holiday bookings for their private properties. In doing so, property owners employ this policy as the framework for managing booking cancellations, amendments and refunds.

Requests from guests seeking to cancel, amend bookings or refund inconsistent with this policy, will be referred by our staff to the property owner/s, who will be the sole decision-makers regarding such requests
