Great location

The location is fantastic, beautiful views and great places to walk and explore. It’s a shame the apartment is so cold in winter. Whilst I don’t like air conditioning & you wouldn’t need it in summer, the unit needs something for the cooler months.

Fantastic Location but..

Waikiki Unit 4 is located in a fantastic position opposite the patrolled section of Kings Beach. The beach is only a one minute walk from the unit across the road. There is also a pool available to use on site. The unit has generous sized balcony with terrific views overlooking the beach. It was great to be able to park the car in the lock up garage. Mind you the height of the garage ceiling could be a limiting factor for tenants with larger vehicles. The unit was of a good size with adequate furniture. Unfortunately the unit has been let go. The bottoms of most of the bathroom and kitchen cupboards are de-laminating and need replacing. The shower screen has two cracks in it and needs replacing whist the bath needs a thorough scrubbing to remove the black stains. The vertical blinds in all rooms are falling apart and need replacing. We only used the kettle and the iron and found the iron falling apart and needs to be replaced. It is such a shame that such an asset has been neglected. Some may say Oh come on. It is only a holiday rental. Our thought is that with some money spent on the unit is would become a fantastic holiday rental.

EASY LIFESTYLE

Location is perfect for beach, walks, shops, coffee. Balcony perfect for drinks: morning, noon or night - watching the world, whales & ships go by. Actually a very quiet location and with a pool. Everything in good condition, getting old (but aren't we all). The only thing that will stop me from returning will be the stairs - but that won't be for another 10 years at least. My home away from home - love it.

Great Spot

Unit is in an excellent position for a beach holiday with easy access to beach, coastal boardwalks & town. A little dated but clean & comfortable & everything you need. The stairs would be challenging for young children & older people & garage is very low & narrow so would not be suitable for any car over a small SUV size.

BEST LOCATION!

Everything right there. Pool in complex, beach across the road, coffee shops in both directions, Caloundra CBD a few minutes walk - no car required. So relaxing looking out over the ocean with a novel in hand. Walk up stairs are good exercise. Decor a bit older style, but clean and neat. I holiday here every year, love it.

Standard Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel or change their booking, the following terms will apply.

· If the Guests gives notice to cancel their booking; less than 30 days notice prior to the arrival date, no refund of any monies paid shall be made. The Owner may (in their discretion) provide a refund if the Property is re-let for the total period of the proposed Tenancy at the same or greater rent.
· more than 30 days prior to the arrival date:
· The Guest will, after deduction of the booking administration and banking fees, receive a full refund of all monies paid.
· the Guest will pay a booking administration fee to the Agency (minimum of $60.00); and
· If a booking has been paid for by credit card and is cancelled, all bank charges are the responsibility of the Guest.
· This booking is made in good faith and the Agent is not responsible for any actions taken by the Owner.
· The cancellation policy becomes active on any account once monies have been paid.
· Our Agency strongly suggests that you take out independent travel insurance
· Guests making bookings at this time do so at their ow risk

COVID-19 Circumstances:
Outside our Standard Cancellation policy, if you are unable to occupy the Property during your reservation or you need to alter your reservation, because of the closure of State borders or other Government mandated travel restrictions, due to and/or during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Agent will agree to one (only) alteration of your reservation, provided that that alteration is of the same Property, to dates that are not more than 12 months after your original arrival date and the monies paid by you for your reservation continues to be held by the Agent for that altered reservation generally in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any difference in cost due to change in tariff will be the responsibility of the guest.

The Agent is contracted by individual property owners to take holiday bookings for their private properties. In doing so, property owners employ this policy as the framework for managing booking cancellations, amendments and refunds.

Requests from guests seeking to cancel, amend bookings or refund inconsistent with this policy, will be referred by our staff to the property owner/s, who will be the sole decision-makers regarding such requests
